    Grating Clip model BCGC-516 is a galvanized carbon steel grating fastener used to fasten steel bar grating to structural shapes where the structural flange is in a horizontal plane. For appropriate use, the maximum measure from the top of the grating to the bottom of the flange is 2.5 inches. It can be used on 22-spaced grating and 30-spaced grating. It will work on 19-spaced grating, but note that the grating bars will spread during tightening. Model BCGC-516 consists of four parts, which are packed as 20 assembled units to a standard box. The principal part is the bottom portion of the assembly. This is a stamped and formed shape to contact the structure in the front and the grating in the rear. The second part is the curved top plate, which fits over the top of the grating surface. The body and top are joined by the third and fourth parts, a 5/16” diameter bolt and nut.
