Grating Clip model BCGC-516 is a galvanized carbon steel grating fastener used to fasten steel bar grating to structural shapes where the structural flange is in a horizontal plane. For appropriate use, the maximum measure from the top of the grating to the bottom of the flange is 2.5 inches. It can be used on 22-spaced grating and 30-spaced grating. It will work on 19-spaced grating, but note that the grating bars will spread during tightening. Model BCGC-516 consists of four parts, which are packed as 20 assembled units to a standard box. The principal part is the bottom portion of the assembly. This is a stamped and formed shape to contact the structure in the front and the grating in the rear. The second part is the curved top plate, which fits over the top of the grating surface. The body and top are joined by the third and fourth parts, a 5/16” diameter bolt and nut. Attach T-Bar Fiberglass Grating to Structural Shapes.
G-Clip model FFSCGC is a 316-stainless steel grating fastener used to fasten fiberglass T-bars to structural members. Like many of our other G-Clips, they are for use where the structural flange is in a horizontal plane. Other stainless steel tops are available for use with the SCGC gripjaw, to be used on popular pultruded and molded fiberglass gratings with a minimum of 3/8” opening. G-Clip model FFSCGC- fastener consists of three parts, which are assembled at the factory into a complete installation unit, packed 25 units to a standard box. The principal part is the grip-jaw portion of the assembly, which has a female-thread form in its upper portion. This grip-jaw is casting, with toothed-shaped segment facing upward, which contact the underside of the structural member. The second part is the stamped top, which fits flat over the grating upper surface. The body and top are joined by the third part, a 1/4"-20 threaded bolt. G-Clip model FFSSGG- is a flattened, 316-stainless steel grating fastener used to fasten odd-spaced bar centers to structural shapes, where the structural flange is in a horizontal plane. Specially modified top assembly is designed to span a total of 3-1/16" with good rigidity and fits flat across the top of the grating surface. Grating Clip model GSLF-38 is a galvanized steel grating fastener used to fasten standard steel bar grating to structural shapes where the structural flange is in a horizontal plane. For appropriate use, the maximum measure from the top of the grating to the bottom of the beam flange should be 2” or less. It is designed to be used on 19-spaced grating with bearing bars from 1/8” to 1/4" wide. Model GSLF-38consists of 3 parts, which are packed as 20 assembled units to a standard box. The principal part is the bottom portion of the assembly. This is a steel casting with the defining feature being the “stair-step” on the back end. The second part is the curved top plate, which fits flat over the grating upper surface. This part is commonly called a “saddle clip.” The body and top are joined by the third part, a 3/8”diameter threaded socket-head bolt. This bolt is fully threaded over a 2-1/4” length.
